I usually start looking forward to snowy conditions around September/October time. Bit with the cold and windy Autumn weather we’re having in the UK we might as well start chatting about skiwear and winter destinations!
My pink with dusty pink ski jacket from Spyder with leopard faux fur trim on the hood has served me well. But it’s time to let it rest and renew my skiwear for the coming season. The black ski trousers are like new, so only really in the market for a woman’s ski jacket. Technical but not too sporty. And timeless as I don’t buy new ones every season.
Spyder didn’t have anything that catched my eye this season, all being a bit white, red and ski teacher uniform like. Bogner on the other hand… I found -and fell in love with the Bogner Arctic champagne coloured ski jacket, shown in picture above. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking. My excitement grew when the Italian brand had matching snow boots too, in a irreducible gold / champagne combo. Then of course -this is last season and all sold out!
As tears are running over the long gone Gogner jacket, I’m turning my eyes on Amundsen Sport. Cool concept, very practical.
Or Sarah Jessica Parkers favourite; Norwegian brand Fleischer Couture
I’ll need to make som decisions soon as first ski weekend is booked, going to Norefjell, Norway and Norefjell Spa Resort last weekend of November. Then again for Christmas, before heading to the Austrian alps, Zell am See and Hinterglemm in February.
So, pretty please! Any advice on ski jackets are most welcome. Also, do you use a ski helmet? Everyone seems to do these days, so I might be in a market for a helmet too… But first things first -ski jacket!
