The Danish fashion brand Dea Kudibal was founded in 2003 with a collection of exclusive scarves and shawls made out of vintage fabrics, evolving into women’s clothing line in 2013.
Dea Kudibal was born in Denmark into a family of artists on her mother’s side and bankers on her father’s side. This blend of creativity and business sense is the backbone of the Kudibal company and both sides also came into play in the designer’s choice of education: she has a sartorial education as well as a BA in fashion management and business.
The brand Kudibal was founded in 2003 with a collection of exclusive scarves and shawls made out of vintage fabrics. In spring 2008 the first Dea Kudibal clothing line was launched.
We discovered this brand recently, through their Danish PR agency. It was not only the silk shirts but the scarfs that drew our attention to this Danish brand. But the entire SS15 collection, a Poetic Tale as well as Secret Garden for High Summer 15 are both offering a selection of relaxed styles, inspired by the bohemian look of the 1970s.
In October 2013 Dea and her family moved to China on new adventures. But the fashion brand Dea Kudibal’s head office remains in Copenhagen with the brand sold in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, UK, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Finland and Japan. Find out more on kudibal.com
