Kristine Holgaard, the creative force behind ivylee copenhagen, brings more than decade of knowledge after working in the Scandinavian fashion industry, with a broad experience from being designer of womenswear, leather accessories, menswear and footwear for leading Scandinavian lifestyle brands.
Brought together with her consistent and natural sense of style, she creates footwear perfect for every woman and occasion, making ivylee copenhagen a relevant and modern addition to the urban woman’s wardrobe. Crafted in Europe from the finest materials and produced to the highest standards, styles blend raw with classic resulting in a contemporary and edgy look.
“When I design a shoe, I just know instinctively if it’s going to work or not,”
explains Kristine Holgaard, “For me it’s a dynamic process where I play with the various components and materials to create the perfect aesthetic.”
The first collection was launched in Australia last summer, due to a business opportunity that raised for the Danish designer. The brand was launched in Australia, with more than 70 retailers stocking the first collection. The brand has now gone worldwide, wit stores in USA and Europe (including UK!) The head office of the brand is located in Copenhagen.
